The Burger Bar & Grill, known over the years as many different establishments in this storied building, which has been a landmark for over 80 years. Conveniently located in the middle of a once booming manufacturing area of LaPorte.

This building was the favorite watering hole of many locals after a hard days work. Our father was one of those that worked at a factory nearby and this was his favorite afterwork hangout. This building has been a local drinking establishment since I can remember and I’m certain many fellow LaPorteans have their own stories to tell. We want to honor those memories and keep parts of this bar’s history inplace.

We have upheld the staples of this bar that many locals have come to recognize. Whether they belly-up to the same solid oak bar their grandfather once shared a beer and a story at; gaze at the old-style walk-in cooler as the bartenders open the antique doors for a cold refreshment; or pour your favorite beer from our nostalgic 5-tap mushroom that has been an anchor of this bar for decades.

Throughout the years, the Burger Bar & Grill has become the locals favorite beer and burger destination. Everyone around here has had their own part in making us what we are today and we like to give back to the community as much as we can. The Burger Bar & Grill not only sponsors local organizations and charities each and every year.

We also host our annual “Burger Bash” celebration in appreciation of the strong customer support we receive throughout the year. It has become a signature point in the year for our establishment and a wonderful time to enjoy with old friends and new!
